Meet Harry and Ellie Maynard
This is about Harry and Ellie Maynard and their life before and after they moved to Arizona in 1951--mostly after.
The story this site tells is really about their time in Tucson and Southern Arizona, 1951 and on into the 1970s.
They married in Michigan in 1941, just a few days before Pearl Harbor. After a stint in the Navy, which took them to San Diego, and a return to Detroit, they moved, with their two small children to tucson, Arizona in 1951.
